Report illegal content
notice and action mechanism · Article 16, Digital Services Act
If you believe material created or published with EDIMI is illegal - it infringes your copyright, your likeness or your personal data - report it here. You do not need an EDIMI account.
What happens after you send it
- We confirm receipt by e-mail as soon as the notice is accepted - provided you give us an address.
- We handle it without undue delay, in a diligent, non-arbitrary and objective way.
- We tell you our decision together with the reasons for it and information on how to challenge it (art. 16(5)).
- If we remove material or restrict access to it, its author receives a separate written statement of reasons (art. 17).
Who handles this, and under what rules
EDIMI is a hosting service under the DSA: we store the files a user uploads and the edits we render, but we do not make anything public ourselves. Publication happens on the user’s own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account, through the official API, at their instruction.
We apply articles 16 and 17 of the DSA. We do not operate the internal complaint-handling system of article 20, for two independent reasons. First, we are not an online platform within the meaning of article 3(i) DSA: we do not disseminate content to the public - a finished edit is available only to its owner, and it is the user who publishes it on their own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account. Second, and regardless of the above, article 19(1) DSA disapplies the whole of Section 3 of the regulation (articles 20-28) to micro and small enterprises, and the Service Provider is a sole proprietorship. This takes nothing away from your right to go to court or to complain to a regulator.
A person reads and assesses every notice. We use no automated decision-making and no automated content detection on them (art. 16(6)).
EDIMI does not make a user’s content available to anyone but its owner. We run no gallery of other people’s work, no feed of other users’ material, and no “share” links that would work for anyone other than the owner of the material.
Contact point
Contact point for users (art. 12) and for the authorities of the Member States, the Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (art. 11): kontakt@edimi.ai. We communicate in Polish and in English.
This form reaches the same mailbox, only in a structured form - which means we have to come back with follow-up questions less often and answer faster.
Notices made in bad faith
A notice is a declaration and we treat it as one. If someone repeatedly submits manifestly unfounded notices, we may - after a prior warning and for a reasonable period - suspend the handling of their further notices.
